The Haad Rin Queen ferry pier is 550 m away, and the Haad Rin Viewpoint, 600 m away, gives a lookout over the surrounding coast. Samui Airport (USM) on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui is 14.2 km away in a straight line, and reaching Ko Pha-ngan from there means a boat crossing, so it is wise to plan the transfer around the sea conditions.

A good day here starts with time on Haad Rin Nok beach and an afternoon at the viewpoint above the coast. Boat crossings to and from the island can be disrupted by rough seas, so keep some flexibility in your plans. For a change of scene, Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, 10.3 km away, is another beach on the island, reached for a day out rather than an evening stroll.
