Ubox samui hostel Chaweng Beach

The hostel offers shared and private accommodation. Dormitory beds are in 8-bed rooms, a mixed dormitory and a female dormitory, with bunk beds, and the private rooms include a king bed and twin beds. Garden bungalows sleep up to three guests, and a villa with a private swimming pool sleeps up to three guests as well.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a balcony or terrace and private beach access, and the 20 m² dormitory with a city view has a shared bathroom.

The hostel has an outdoor swimming pool and its own private beach, where guests can sunbathe and play beach volleyball. The site also has a lift.

Services include a laundry service and private check-in and check-out. The laundry service is there for guests on longer trips. An airport transfer is offered as well.

Internet access is wireless, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Parking is available on site, and check-in runs from 15:00 to 23:00 with check-out until 12:00.

Chaweng is one of the most lively beach areas on Koh Samui, with a long strip of sand, bars and shops along the roads behind it, and plenty going on in the evening. The hostel sits on Chaweng Beach Road in Tambon Bo Put, so the beach and the bars are close at hand. It is a busy area, and it stays lively late into the evening.

The Night Market is 700 m away, and Chaweng Yai Beach is just as close, so an evening stroll and a swim can be combined without a long journey. Chaweng Noi Beach, a separate stretch of sand further along the shore, is 2.8 km away. Big Buddha, a large statue and temple near Bophut, is 4.2 km away, and Samui Airport (USM) is 1.6 km from the hostel, so the island's own airport is the nearest place to fly in. Koh Samui is an island, so the connection from the mainland is by air or by ferry.

A good day could start with a swim in the outdoor pool, continue with an afternoon at Chaweng Beach and a visit to Big Buddha, and finish with dinner and a walk through the Night Market.
