Wat Chalong, the best-known Buddhist temple in the area, is 1.6 km away, and Big Buddha Phuket, a large white statue on a hill with views over the island, is 4.2 km away. Chalong Pier, the ferry terminal for boats to nearby islands, is also close, and Kata Beach is 6 km away.

A good day could start at Wat Chalong, then move on to the hilltop views at Big Buddha before a swim at the resort's pool. Phuket International Airport is 30.7 km away, and an airport transfer is offered. Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural theme park with evening shows, is 14.9 km away for a different kind of evening. Boats to the islands leave from Chalong Pier, a few kilometres from the resort, so a day trip to the sea is easy to plan.
