Tony Lodge

The rooms at Tony Lodge include a 38 m² twin room with two single beds and a 31 m² double room with one double bed, both with air conditioning and a balcony or terrace, and rooms that sleep up to three guests.

Rooms can have a refrigerator, a desk, blackout curtains, a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, an in-room safe box and free bottled water. The twin and double rooms also have a shower and a telephone. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Tony Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, plus a spa, a sauna and a massage service, with a garden and a bar on site. The restaurants offer Asian and buffet breakfast, and there is room service, a coffee shop, happy hour and BBQ facilities.

Diving, fishing and snorkelling are offered as activities, and tours can be arranged along with ticket services, car hire and a shuttle service. An airport transfer is available, and parking on site is available too.

For everyday needs there is laundry service, daily housekeeping, currency exchange, cash withdrawal, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes, along with express and private check-in and check-out.

Tony Lodge sits in Khuk Khak, a stretch of the Khao Lak coast in Phangnga province, where the hills rise close behind the sea and Bang Niang Beach runs along the shore. The coast was hit hard by the 2004 tsunami, and the International Tsunami Museum here is a reminder of it. Visitors come for the beach, the waterfalls inland and the national parks nearby.

Bang Niang Beach is about 1 km from the hotel, and the International Tsunami Museum and the Bang Niang Afternoon Market are both 250 m away. Ton Chong Fa Waterfall lies in the hills about 4 km away, and Similan National Park, 10.7 km away, is reached by boat, so trips to the islands depend on the season. Wat Panatnikhom, a pagoda, is a short walk from the hotel. The hotel offers car hire and a shuttle service for trips along the coast and into the hills.

A good day can begin with a walk along Bang Niang Beach and a visit to the tsunami museum, then the afternoon market. For a day inland, the waterfalls and Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park make a full trip, and tours can be arranged through the hotel. Boat trips to the Similan islands are a day out in their own right.
