Baramate Khao Lak

Baramate Khao Lak has a double room measuring 22 m², with a queen bed for up to two guests. It has air conditioning, a private entrance and a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, plus a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

The coast here was one of the areas hardest hit by the 2004 tsunami, and memorials and the museum in the area reflect that history.

The Tsunami Museum is 350 m away and covers the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which struck this coast. Bang Niang Beach is about 1 km off, and Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, inland, is 5.1 km away, with waterfalls and walking trails. Phuket International Airport is 62.5 km away, and Khao Lak sits on the mainland, so the drive from the airport needs no ferry.

A full day can start at Bang Niang Market and the Wat Panatnikhom pagoda close by, continue to Ton Chong Fa Waterfall in the hills, and end on the beach. Similan National Park, 10.9 km away, is reached by boat, so it makes a full day of its own. Khao Lak Bus Station is close by for public transport, and the hotel has an airport transfer for the trip from the airport.
