Tian Ming Hostel

The rooms at Tian Ming Hostel range from bunk beds in dormitories for women and for men to queen, double and triple rooms, several with a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and several rooms have air conditioning and a city view. The shared dormitory rooms have bunk beds, and the choice depends on whether you want a bed in a shared room or a room of your own with a private bathroom.

The private rooms sleep up to three guests, with a queen bed, a double bed, or a single bed together with a queen bed. Several of them include a refrigerator, a microwave and kitchenware, and their bathrooms have a shower and towels.

Tian Ming Hostel is on the lively side of the island, with Chaweng Walking Street 300 m away and the Laem Din Market close by. The area stays busy into the evening, with street-food stalls and small shops along the roads, and the streets around the hostel are lined with its everyday shops and eateries.

Chaweng Noi Beach is a calmer sandy bay, 1.2 km away, and Fisherman's Village, with its shops and restaurants, is another stop on the island's coastal roads. Samui Airport (USM) is 3.2 km away, so the hostel is simple to reach from the island's main airport. Scooters and taxis are the usual ways to get around Koh Samui, and the island's main roads link the beaches, the markets and the hilltop sights.

A good day could start with a swim at Chaweng Noi Beach, then head to the Big Buddha, a hilltop statue 5.6 km away that overlooks the coast of Bophut. Evenings can be spent on Chaweng Walking Street, back near the hostel, among its shops and restaurants.
