The Z Nite Hostel

The rooms at The Z Nite Hostel are mostly dormitories with bunk beds, some mixed and some female only. Several have a city view, and the rooms are set up for guests who share a dormitory with other travellers, which suits anyone travelling on a budget and happy to meet new people.

Some rooms come with their size: one dorm measures 38 m² and sleeps up to two guests, and the 4-bed dormitories measure 30 m² each. The shared bathroom is part of several rooms, and the hostel's lounge and game room are shared by all of its guests, so guests can meet other travellers outside their dormitory.

The hostel offers an airport transfer, a shuttle service, tours, car hire and a taxi service, and ticket services are available as well, so guests can book tours and tickets through the hostel. Luggage storage, lockers, laundry service, dry cleaning and ironing service are also offered, and daily housekeeping is available.

There is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with a snack bar, a coffee shop and a bar. Free parking is available on site, and bicycle parking is offered too.

The game room, the on-site entertainment and the shared lounge with its TV area cover the evenings, and the hostel has a gift and souvenir shop and a convenience store.

The Z Nite Hostel is on Suthat Road in Phuket Town, the main town of Phuket island, with the old town's streets of Sino-Portuguese shophouses, temples and local shops close by. It is an urban setting rather than a beach area, with shops, temples and street life close at hand, so the stay is about the town itself and its streets of markets and food stalls.

Phuket Old Town is nearby, and the Peranakan Museum, which covers Peranakan heritage, and the Phuket Trickeye Museum, known for its painted 3D scenes, are both within 600 m of the hostel. The Lard Yai Sunday Night Market, also 600 m away, fills its streets with food stalls on Sunday evenings. Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, is one of the island's best-known temples and lies 7.8 km away. Patong Beach, the main resort beach on the west coast, is 10.8 km away.

A good day here starts with a walk through the old town and its museums, continues to Wat Chalong, and ends with a stroll through the night market on a Sunday. A taxi can take you to Wat Chalong or Patong Beach, and the local bus station is nearby for trips further afield.
