HOM's HOSTEL

Most of the accommodation at HOM's HOSTEL is in shared dormitories, with bunk beds in several rooms and female capsule beds in one of them, alongside a single bed room. Every room has a shared bathroom.

Some rooms have a balcony, a city view or a separate living room, and air conditioning is available in some of them. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and a hair dryer, towels and toiletries are provided in some bathrooms.

Front desk services at HOM's HOSTEL include express check-in and check-out, luggage storage, lockers, an ironing service and daily housekeeping. Tours and ticket services can also be arranged through the hostel, and the front desk can help with reservations for entertainment and sightseeing.

HOM's HOSTEL is on Suthat Road in Phuket Town, the island's main town, a short distance from the old quarter and its Sino-Portuguese shophouses. The streets here are more local than the beach areas, and the district is a practical choice for travellers who want to walk to restaurants, markets and museums, with the old quarter's shophouses and temples close by.

Phuket Old Town is 450 m away, and Thalang Road, which runs through the old quarter, leads to the Peranakan Museum, where the history of the Peranakan community is on display. The Lard Yai Sunday Night Market is also in the area, a short walk away. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7.6 km away and is one of the island's most important Buddhist temples.

A full day could start with a walk through the old town, then continue to Chaithararam Temple and to Patong Beach, the island's busiest beach, which is 10.6 km away and is a good choice for an afternoon swim and dinner by the sea. The Big Buddha, a large white seated statue on the hills, is another stop with views over the island. Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 26.5 km away, so allow time for the drive when planning arrivals and departures.
