The Yorkshire Hotel

Rooms at The Yorkshire Hotel measure between 17 and 50 m², and each one has air conditioning, a shower, toiletries and a hair dryer. Beds are queen or king, and the 30 m² and 50 m² rooms have city views.

Some rooms sleep up to three guests and others up to two, and both the Superior Large Deluxe and the Apartment, at 50 m² each, sleep three guests. The Yorkshire Hotel sits on Soi Sansabia, a side street off Rat-U-Thit 200 Road, so the lively streets around Jungceylon are a short walk away. Evenings in the district are busy, with night markets and bars close by, and the beach is the main attraction by day.

Patong Beach is 500 m away and Bangla Road, the street of bars and clubs, is 250 m from the hotel. Kalim Beach is 2 km away, while Big Buddha Phuket, the large white statue on a hilltop, is 7.4 km away. Phuket International Airport, 24.3 km away, is the main arrival point, and taxis and songthaews run the roads between the beaches and the temples.

A full day could start on Patong Beach, continue to Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, and end with the Phuket FantaSea show, a cultural theme park with an evening performance. Karon Beach and Kata Beach are reached by a short drive along the coast road, and each has its own stretch of sand and its own mix of hotels and restaurants.
