Railay Beach, 12.6 km away, is reached only by longtail boat, and its limestone cliffs are a short trip from town. Ao Nang Beach, 12.3 km away, is a lively beach town along the coast.

A good day could start at the morning market, continue to the temples, and end with a longtail boat trip from the piers to Railay or to the islands of Poda and Tup. The Krabi Weekend Night Market is 4.3 km away for the evening. Boat trips can be disrupted by rough seas in the rainy season.
