The Viridian Resort

The rooms at The Viridian Resort are superior and deluxe rooms of 28 to 30 m², and some of them offer a choice of bed set-ups. These include a 30 m² deluxe room with a garden view, a deluxe room with a balcony and a superior room with a separate bedroom.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a hair dryer, an electric kettle and a refrigerator, and garden views are offered subject to availability. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the rooms sleep up to five guests depending on the room you book.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a separate children's swimming pool, along with gardens, a terrace and a library. Restaurants are on site, and there is a breakfast takeaway service.

The front desk is staffed 24 hours, and express and private check-in and check-out are available, along with safety deposit boxes, daily housekeeping and business facilities. The resort is also family and child friendly.

Patong is one of Phuket's largest resort towns, on the island's west coast, where a long beach sits alongside a busy mix of restaurants, bars, massage shops and small shops. The Viridian Resort is in the lively part of town, and the beach, the night market and the evening life are all close at hand. Guests who want quieter days can spend them in the resort's gardens and by its swimming pool.

Patong Beach is 300 m from the resort, and Bangla Road, a street of bars and nightlife, is 350 m away. Jungceylon Shopping Center, 450 m from the resort, has shops and restaurants under one roof, and the Banzaan Fresh Market (Night) is a busy night market with food stalls and local produce. The long beach at Karon is a popular alternative to Patong's sand, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), 6.6 km from the resort, is one of the island's most important temples. The Big Buddha Phuket, a large statue on a hilltop, is also a popular visit.

A full day could begin on Patong Beach, continue with a swim at Karon and a visit to Wat Chalong, and end at the night market back in Patong. The Big Buddha and Wat Chalong make a separate outing from the beaches, while the evenings belong to Bangla Road.
