The Travelers Friend

Accommodation at The Travelers Friend ranges from a bungalow for up to ten guests to a 20 m² bungalow with a king bed for two. The offer also includes a room assigned on arrival, which sleeps up to three guests.

Long Beach is 400 m from the resort, and Klong Dao Beach is further along the coast. The Khlong Dao Muay Thai Stadium, 750 m away, is a local venue for Thai boxing. Lanta Old Town, 11.6 km away, is the island's historic settlement, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 17.8 km away, protects a marine area of islands, forest and beaches. Sala Dan Pier, 3.7 km away, is the island's ferry terminal, so the last part of the journey to the island is by boat.

A good day could start with a swim at Long Beach, followed by a massage at the resort and an evening in the games room or at the bar. Diving and snorkelling are popular around the islands, and the national park is a full day out for guests who want more of the island's nature. In the rainy months, the sea can be rough and boat trips may be cancelled.
