The Strand Resort Samui

The rooms at The Strand Resort Samui go from 35 m² superior and twin rooms to family rooms of 110 m² and 118 m², with garden-view rooms and 80 m² family suites. Some rooms have a separate living room, a balcony or a terrace, and the beds go from one king bed to two single beds or two king beds.

The Big Buddha statue lies 1.5 km from the resort, and Wat Plai Laem, a temple known for its large Guan Yin statue, is 1.8 km away. Samui Airport is 1.4 km from the resort, and the resort also has a shuttle service and an airport transfer for guests who want to reach the island without a car.

A good day could begin on the beach, continue with a visit to the Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem, and end with an evening walk through Fisherman's Village. Chaweng Noi Beach is a further option for a second beach day. The island sits in the Gulf of Thailand, and the resort is a base for sightseeing around this part of the island.
