Rooms at The SIS Kata Resort – Adult Only share a private bathroom with a shower, bathrobes, a hair dryer, toiletries, towels, an electric kettle and a mirror. Some look out over the pool or the garden, others have a partial sea view, and the suites have a sea view.

The suites measure 68 m² and have a sea view. Some rooms have a bathtub or a whirlpool bathtub, and some have satellite or cable channels and a flat-screen TV. Beds are double or king, with single beds in some rooms, and one room offers a choice of bed set-ups.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a spa with massage and sauna, and billiards. A game room, a library and a garden are on site, and there is a gift and souvenir shop.

The SIS Kata Resort – Adult Only is on Kok Tanode Road in the Kata area of Phuket, 200 m from Kata Beach. Phuket is the largest island in Thailand and is linked to the mainland by a bridge, and Kata is one of its beach districts, with a sandy shore and a road behind the sand lined with cafés, small shops and low-rise hotels. The island's international airport is 33.2 km away.

Karon Beach lies further along the coast, and the Phuket Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hillside, is a short distance inland. Patong, the island's busiest beach town with the bars and nightlife of Bangla Road, is 8.2 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is one of the best-known temples on the island.

A day here can start with time on Kata Beach, continue with a visit to the Big Buddha, and end with dinner in Kata. Kata Noi Beach, 700 m from the resort, is a further beach along the coast, and the Karon Night Market is 3.5 km away for an evening stroll. Patong's nightlife is also an easy trip by taxi. The beaches of the Kata and Karon area are close to one another, so a day can cover several of them.
