Ao Nang Beach, the main beach strip of the resort area, is 6.3 km away, and longtail boats from there reach Railay, a peninsula of limestone cliffs that is 9.1 km from the hotel. Railay is reached only by boat, so a day there means a longtail ride. Closer to home, the Sunday and Tuesday Market and the local Matsayit Ban Khlong Muang mosque are within a short walk, and Tiger Cave Temple, a hillside temple reached by a long staircase, is 19.4 km away.

A good day could start with a longtail boat from Ao Nang to Poda Island or Tup Island, both reached by water, and return to Klong Muang Beach for a quiet evening. The Krabi Elephant Shelter is also nearby, for travellers who want to see elephants.
