The Sea Resort, Haad Rin

The rooms at The Sea Resort, Haad Rin run from single and twin rooms to doubles, a Deluxe Bungalow with Sea View and a Deluxe Villa. Rooms can have air conditioning, a shower, toiletries and a balcony or terrace. The Standard Twin Room also has a full kitchen.

Guests who want more space can choose the Deluxe Villa, which measures 40 m² and sleeps up to eight, or the Deluxe Bungalow with Sea View, which sleeps up to three. Many rooms have a flat-screen TV and free bottled water, and some have a separate shower or bathtub as well as a private bathroom.

Guests can use an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, with a private beach, a garden and a terrace on site. Restaurants are available at the resort, and the 24-hour front desk is open round the clock.

Haad Rin is a lively beach village on Ko Pha-ngan, the island in the Gulf of Thailand best known for its Full Moon Party. In the evenings the streets behind the sand fill with eateries and bars, and the resort is in the village itself, so the beach and the centre are close by, and walking is the simplest way to get around the village itself for most visitors.

Haad Rin Nai beach is 250 m away, and the Haad Rin Queen ferry pier is 800 m from the hotel, where boats from the neighbouring islands dock. Ko Pha-ngan has no bridge, so the last leg of any trip is by boat, and Samui Airport lies 14.7 km away across the water on Ko Samui. Surat Thani Airport, on the mainland, is 117.6 km away for travellers who want to fly in there.

A good day could start with a swim in the resort's pool, then a stroll along Haad Rin Nai beach and an afternoon at Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, a long stretch of sand further along the island. Boats between the islands can be cancelled in rough seas, so keep some flexibility on the day you travel.
