The Residence Resort & Spa Retreat

Accommodation at The Residence Resort & Spa Retreat is made up of villas, from the 54 m² Plunge Pool Villa to a three-bedroom villa that sleeps up to eleven guests. Several villas have pool views and others look out onto the gardens, with capacities from three to eleven guests. Some villas include a private entrance, and the garden-view villas overlook the resort's gardens.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, an in-room safe, a sofa, a coffee and tea maker, a microwave, a mini bar, a refrigerator, a balcony or terrace, and a private pool. Bathrobes and a hair dryer are part of the bathroom in some rooms, and the villas have bathtubs and showers.

The resort has a swimming pool and a garden, with a terrace, a playground and a kids meal for families. The concierge, tours, car hire and a taxi service are offered, along with luggage storage, laundry service and daily housekeeping. Around the resort, the Bang-Tao Night Market is 200 m away, a market for an evening wander among the stalls. Phuket FantaSea, 3.7 km away, is a cultural theme park known for its evening shows. Phuket International Airport is 13.7 km away, and the island is linked to the mainland by a bridge, so the temples and beaches are reached by road, most often by car or taxi. Patong Beach, 9 km away, is the busier beach of the island, with restaurants and nightlife along the sand after dark.

A full day could start at Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) and the Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hill, then continue to Kata Beach or Karon Beach for a swim and lunch by the sea. Back at the resort, the swimming pool and gardens are the place to end the day, and the Bang-Tao Night Market is next to the property for dinner among the stalls.
