The Reef Hotel

The rooms at The Reef Hotel range from studios and standard rooms to deluxe rooms and family rooms. Several have a garden view, one family room has a city view and one deluxe room has a nature view. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, and rooms with a private bathroom include a shower and toiletries.

Several rooms have an electric kettle, a hair dryer and free WiFi, and some have a mini bar, a refrigerator or an in-room safe. Bed set-ups vary: some rooms have a single king bed or a queen bed, and a family room offers one king bed and two single beds. Some rooms offer a choice of bed set-ups.

The Reef Hotel has a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop and a snack bar, and guests can order food delivery. Breakfast can be taken in the restaurant, in the room or as a takeaway. There is also a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge/TV area where guests can gather, and tours can be arranged.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and WiFi is also offered in public areas and for special events. The hotel has luggage storage, express check-in and check-out, daily housekeeping, and an indoor venue for special events with meeting facilities. A doctor or nurse is on call, and the hotel also offers diving and snorkelling.

Ko Lipe is a small island in the Andaman Sea, part of Satun province in southern Thailand, and the hotel stands in the village area. The island is reached by boat, and the ferry terminal is 500 m from the hotel. The beaches and the village are close together on this small island, and Ko Lipe is fairly compact, which keeps the beaches, the village and the ferry terminal within a short distance of one another.

Sunrise Beach is 300 m from the hotel, and Pattaya Beach and Karma Beach are close by along the shore. Ban Ko Li Pe village is 200 m away, and the island's clinic and pharmacy are within 150 m. Koh Adang, 6 km away, is one of the islands boats reach from here, so day trips across the water are part of a stay.

Snorkelling and diving are among the main outings from the island, and tours can be arranged. When the sea is rough in the rainy months, boat trips to nearby islands can be cancelled. Walking Street and Sunset Beach are also close to the hotel, so an evening stroll through the village can be combined with a day on the beach.
