The Phu Beach Hotel is in the Nopparat Thara area of Ao Nang, a busy beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province. Ao Nang has a long sandy shore and a lively seafront, where the beach road fills with street-food stalls and small shops in the evening. The nearest beach to the hotel is Noppharat Thara Beach, and Ao Nang Beach is a little further along the same coast, so the hotel is close to both without being on the sand itself.
