The Oasis Resort

The rooms at The Oasis Resort measure 24 to 25 m². The Standard Double Room has one double bed and sleeps up to two guests. The Standard Room sleeps up to three guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the rooms can have air conditioning, a desk and a seating area.

The rooms can also have a private bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, an electric kettle, a hair dryer, towels, a mini bar and a refrigerator. A baby cot can be requested directly from the property, subject to availability, and extra beds depend on the room you choose.

Free parking is available on site, and valet parking is also offered. The 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, daily housekeeping and a convenience store are available, and the resort has a garden.

The Oasis Resort stands on Natoey Road in Krabi Town, the provincial capital on Thailand's Andaman coast. The surroundings are a mix of local markets, temples and everyday streets rather than a beach resort district, which appeals to travellers who want to see Krabi beyond the sand. Krabi International Airport is 8.7 km away.

Within a few hundred metres are the Krabi Bus Terminal, Ban Talat Kao Fresh Market and Wat Kuan Sabay, a pagoda. Ban Talat Kao is a good place to see local life in town. The Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) lies 3.8 km away, reached by a long staircase up a hillside. The sandy beaches of Ao Nang are 11.5 km away, and the Krabi Weekend Night Market is a further 4.1 km. Railay Beach, reached by boat, is set among limestone cliffs.

A good day could start at the Tiger Cave Temple and end with a swim at Ao Nang. Boats from the piers in Krabi go to the islands of Poda and Tup, and the sea can be rough in the rainy months, when some boat trips may not run. Car hire is offered at the resort, which is useful for trips further afield, and free parking is available for guests who drive.
