The Nest Krabi Hotel

Every room at The Nest Krabi Hotel has air conditioning, and the rooms measure between 40 and 44 m² and sleep up to three guests. Some of the rooms look out over the mountains, others over the river or the town, and the Superior Twin Room has a city view.

Rooms can also have a refrigerator, a desk, a hair dryer, a mosquito net, a coffee and tea maker with complimentary tea, and free bottled water. The Superior River View Double Bed and the Superior River View Twin Beds have a river view, and the Mountain View King Room has a mountain view.

Guests have access to an elevator, a shared lounge and TV area with a large flat-screen TV, luggage storage, and express check-in and check-out. Daily housekeeping, a laundromat and a laundry service are also available, along with a convenience store on site.

The Nest Krabi Hotel is set in Krabi Town, the provincial capital, on Uttarakit Road in Paknam. It is a town of markets, temples and museums that moves at a slower pace than the beach resorts along the coast, with everyday local life all around. Staying here keeps everyday local life close at hand, with shorter trips out to the beaches and islands.

Krabi Town has several sights within a few kilometres of the hotel. Wat Kaew Korawaram, a pagoda in the town, is 1.4 km away, and the Krabi Weekend Night Market, a lively market of food and local goods, is 1.3 km away. In the centre of town you can walk to the markets, but for the beaches you need transport: Ao Nang's beach strip is 11.3 km away by road, and Railay can only be reached by boat.

A good day could begin at the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 5.5 km away, where a long staircase climbs the hillside, and continue to the beaches of Ao Nang later on. Krabi International Airport is 7.6 km away for travellers arriving by air, and the piers in town serve the boats to the islands, although the sea conditions decide which trips run on the day. Town life and the coast are both a short trip away from here.
