The Morning Minihouse Aonang

Limestone cliffs rise along the coast, and boats leave from the town for trips to the islands and beaches nearby. The evenings bring a lively street scene.

The beach is 690 m from the property, and the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market is about 650 m away, where food stalls and local goods fill the evening. Ao Nang Beach Pier, the ferry pier for boat trips to the islands, is also nearby. Railay Beach, 4 km away, is reached by longtail boat and is known for its cliffs and for Phra Nang Cave, a cave with shrines. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 14.7 km away, has a long staircase up to a hillside shrine. Krabi International Airport is 18.9 km away.

A full day could start with the beach, continue with a longtail boat to Railay or to Poda Island, and end at the night market with food from the stalls. Longer boat trips to the outer islands leave from the same pier, so plan a full day for them. Boats are the main way to reach the islands from the town.
