Capacity runs from two guests in the One-Bedroom Bungalow to four in the Classic Quadruple Room.

Lom Kao is a hilly district of Phetchabun province in central Thailand, and The Moon House Phu Thap Buek sits in the upland countryside around the Phu Tap Boek peak. The provincial capital, Phetchabun, is the main town of the wider province. The landscape around the bungalows is mountainous and largely rural, with forest and hillside scenery rather than a busy town.

The peak itself is about 100 m from the property. The Phu Tap Boek viewpoint lies about 3 km away, an area of fern and maple trees is about 2.4 km off, and Phu tab berk, an attraction about 1 km away, is one of the nearest sights.

With free parking on site, arriving by car is the simplest way to get around. A day could start at the peak, continue to the viewpoint and end in the fern and maple tree area, and the bungalows are a convenient place to start from for these short trips into the hills.
