The Meeting House Aonang

The rooms at The Meeting House Aonang can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a private bathroom with a shower, an electric kettle, a refrigerator and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, and the bed set-ups go from two single beds to a queen bed or a king bed.

Two room sizes are available, 27 m² and 34 m², and one room has a city view. Guests travelling in pairs can book the 27 m² rooms with two single beds or a queen bed, while groups of up to four fit the 34 m² rooms. The property is smoke-free and has non-smoking rooms.

Ao Nang is a beach town on the mainland of Krabi, where limestone cliffs rise above long sandy shores and the seafront is busy with restaurants, dive shops and tour desks. The Meeting House Aonang is on Soi 8, with the beach 230 m away, and the lanes around it hold guesthouses, shops and small restaurants.

The Ao Nang Night Market is 200 m away and is busy in the evening with food stalls and shops. Noppharathara Beach and Ao Nang Beach are the nearest sands, and both are lined with the town's bars and boat operators. The Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a hillside temple complex with a long staircase, a longer trip out of town. Walking between the beaches, the night market and the guesthouse takes little time, so the centre of Ao Nang is easy to explore on foot during the day and in the evening.

A day could start with a longtail boat from the piers along the beach to Railay Beach, 3.5 km away, where limestone cliffs drop to the water, and then continue to Phra Nang Cave, 4.7 km from the property. Poda and Tup islands are also reached by boat, and in the rainy months boat trips are sometimes cancelled because of rough seas.
