The Luna Phuket

Every room at The Luna Phuket has air conditioning, and all the rooms measure between 16 and 24 m². Dormitory beds in four-bed and six-bed mixed rooms sit alongside rooms for up to two guests, so both solo travellers and couples can stay here.

Some dormitory beds share a bathroom, and the ensuite bed in a four-bed mixed room has its own. The Deluxe room includes a sofa, a TV, a mini bar and a refrigerator.

The Luna Phuket is on Soi Naiyang 16 in Sakoo, in the Naiyang area of Phuket, and the island's international airport is 1.1 km from the hotel, which is handy for early flights. The area around Nai Yang is a mix of beach, national park land and village streets, with the main resort beaches of Patong and Kata a long drive away, so a quieter stay here is the main draw.

Nai Yang Beach is 1 km away, on the shoreline of Sirinat National Park. The park covers much of this stretch of coast, so a morning on the sand fits easily into a day here. Maikhao Beach, 3.2 km away, is home to the Airplane Viewpoint, where planes come in low over the sand. Wat Mongkonwaram, a Buddhist temple nearby, and Sirinart Naiyang Park offer a quieter half day.

The Ni Yang Night Market is 800 m from the hotel and is the evening option, with food stalls and everyday goods. A day could start at Nai Yang Beach, move to the airplane viewpoint at Maikhao, and end at the night market. The water park is a good option for a day out with children, and taxis and car hire make the wider island easy to reach from here.
