The Library Hotel

The Library Hotel offers pool villas, garden-view suites and a studio, and the Two Bedroom Secret Pool Villa has an ocean view. Rooms can have a bathtub, a mini bar, a refrigerator, an in-room safe and a coffee or tea maker, depending on the room. Several rooms, including The Bookmark, the 1 bedroom Pool Villa and the 2 Bedroom Pool Villa, come with open-air bath privileges.

The Smart Studio measures 67 m², the Exotic Suite 76 m², The Bookmark 102 m² and the Secret Pool Villa 220 m². The 2 Bedroom Pool Villa sleeps up to five guests, and the Two Bedroom Secret Pool Villa up to six, so larger groups can book a villa with room to spare.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a 24-hour front desk and room service, plus a bar and a poolside bar. Restaurants serve Asian, international and Western cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there is a coffee shop as well.

Tours and water activities such as canoeing, diving, snorkelling and fishing are offered, and an airport transfer is available. Car hire, a shuttle service, a concierge and luggage storage are also offered, along with laundry service and daily housekeeping.

The Library Hotel is in Chaweng, the best-known beach area of Koh Samui for evening life, where bars, restaurants and shops line the sand and the roads behind it. Those who want the busy beach life close at hand will find it here, while the quieter parts of the island are reached by road from the hotel. Chaweng's long beach is popular through the morning, and the streets fill up after sunset, with everything from street food to international restaurants along the beach road.

Chaweng Yai Beach is 500 m from the hotel, and the Walking Street, a pedestrian lane of bars and restaurants, is 100 m away, so both lie within a few hundred metres. The Big Buddha, a large seated statue, is 4.8 km away, and Wat Plai Laem, with its Guanyin statue, is nearby. Chaweng Noi Beach, a smaller and quieter stretch of sand beside the main bay, is also close by.

Samui Airport, 2.3 km away, is on Koh Samui itself, so you do not need a ferry to fly in, and the hotel offers an airport transfer. For a day inland, Na Muang Waterfall is 9.9 km away, a forest waterfall reached by road. Lamai Beach, reached along the coast road, offers a different beach to Chaweng for a day out.
