Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, where a long strip of sand runs along the bay and the streets behind it are lined with shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel sits close to the sea, with Noppharathara Beach 50 m away. The beach and the evening streets are both within walking distance of the hotel.

Around the hotel, the night market is one of the main draws, and the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market is the closest. Ao Nang Beach Pier, on the bay, is the departure point for boats to the islands, and the town's streets are easy to explore on foot. Railay Beach, reached only by longtail boat, has limestone cliffs, and the Tiger Cave Temple, known as Wat Tham Suea, is a further outing for a temple visit.

The islands are the other reason to stay here: Poda Island is 7.3 km away by boat, and Tup Island and the Hong Islands lie further out for a longer boat trip. In the rainy months, rough seas can disrupt boat trips, so the island days are best planned around the weather. Most island day trips leave from the pier in Ao Nang, which is a short ride from the hotel by road.
