The Lake Chalong Resort

The rooms at The Lake Chalong Resort include deluxe double rooms with a garden, lake or pool view, a two-bedroom family suite for up to five guests, a 78 m² family room with two bedrooms and a 120 m² two-bedroom villa with a river view.

Several rooms have air conditioning and a private bathroom, and the bathrooms in the deluxe double rooms with a bathtub come with bathrobes, a hair dryer and an electric kettle. The villa has a choice of bed set-ups, and some rooms sleep up to five guests. Views from the rooms are of the garden, the lake, the river and the pool, depending on the room.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a spa with sauna and massage, a garden, a terrace and a rooftop area. A 24-hour front desk, room service, laundry service and bicycle rental are available, and the resort is wheelchair accessible.

The resort is in Chalong, a district of Phuket known for its temples and everyday local life rather than its nightlife. Temples and local shops are close by, and the island's beaches are a drive away. Patong, with its nightlife, is further out. The Fruit Market and several pagodas are also in the area, giving a fuller picture of the district's temples and daily life.

Chaithararam Temple, also known as Wat Chalong, is 350 m away and is one of the best-known Buddhist temples on the island. Big Buddha Phuket, a large seated Buddha statue on a hilltop, is 3.6 km away, and Chalong Pier, a ferry terminal for boats to the nearby islands, is 3.8 km away. Karon Beach, a wide sandy beach, is 4.7 km away, and the Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall, is in Patong.

A day could combine Wat Siri Supharam, a pagoda nearby, with Big Buddha Phuket, followed by an afternoon at Karon Beach. For a night out, Phuket FantaSea, a theme park with a large cultural show, can be added to an evening out, and Phuket International Airport is 29.2 km away for guests arriving by air.
