The Hive Hotel Samui

Rooms at The Hive Hotel Samui can have air conditioning, a closet, a desk and an in-room safe. The rooms range from a 30 m² Standard Room with a garden view to two 42 m² rooms: the Deluxe Beachfront Bungalow, with a sea view, and the Deluxe Villa, with a garden view.

Amenities depend on the room. The Deluxe Beachfront Bungalow has a private bathroom, an umbrella and complimentary tea, the Deluxe Villa has slippers and linens, and the Standard Room offers a choice of bed set-ups. The Standard Room and the Deluxe Beachfront Bungalow both have blackout curtains. Guests can choose between a garden-view standard room, a sea-view bungalow and a garden-view villa, depending on the setup they prefer.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, a poolside bar and a fitness centre. The spa includes a sauna, and there is also a yoga room. The restaurants serve à la carte dishes, Asian cuisine and international cuisine, and there is a coffee shop as well.

Guests can arrange tours, diving, snorkelling and watersport rentals, and car hire and a shuttle service are available. An airport transfer is offered, and laundry service and daily housekeeping are also available.

For arrivals by car there is free parking on site, as well as bicycle parking. Business facilities, a cash withdrawal service and express check-in and check-out are also offered, along with 24-hour security.

The Hive Hotel Samui is on Lamai Beach, a well-known stretch of sand on Koh Samui. The Lamai Night Market is 800 m away, and the Koko galery museum and Baan Lamai village are close by. The Lamai Fresh Food Market is also in the area, and the beach is easy to reach from the hotel.

Hin Ta & Hin Yai, the rock formations also known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are 1.3 km from the hotel, and Rocky's Beach and Wat Lamai pagoda are nearby as well. Na Muang Waterfall, one of the island's waterfalls, is 6.1 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large seated statue, is 12.2 km from the hotel. Wat Plai Laem, a temple known for its large Guan Yin statue, is also on the island. Most of these sights are a short drive away, so a hire car or scooter makes the day easier.

Samui Airport is 9.8 km from the hotel and is the nearest airport. Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport is on the mainland, further away. A good day out could start at the rock formations, continue with a swim at Lamai Beach, and end at the Lamai Night Market, where food stalls and goods line the streets in the evening.
