The Hammock Samui Beach Resort

The Hammock Samui Beach Resort has bungalows and rooms in several styles. Some open onto the sea, the pool or the garden, others have a balcony or terrace, and several of them take up to three guests. The sea view rooms look over the water, the garden view rooms look over the resort's garden, and the pool view bungalow looks over the swimming pool.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a mini bar, a refrigerator, an in-room safe box and free bottled water, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Some rooms also have a coffee or tea maker, a hair dryer and bathrobes.

Mae Nam is a village on the coast of Koh Samui, where the sand runs past local homes, small shops and temples. The resort sits in this quieter part of the island rather than in one of its busiest bays, and Maenam Beach is 100 m away. Koh Samui is an island, so the journey ends by air at Samui Airport or by boat from the mainland.

Several places are close by. The Chinese Temple is 150 m away and the morning market 650 m away, and they are the closest landmarks to the resort after the beach. Fisherman's Village in Bophut is 3.8 km away, a walking street of shops and restaurants by the water. The Big Buddha, a large statue on a hilltop, is 6.6 km away, and Na Muang Waterfall is one of the island's best-known falls. The Big Buddha is also one of the island's best-known sights.

For a day out, combine a morning at the market and the Chinese Temple with an afternoon at the Big Buddha, or stroll around Fisherman's Village in Bophut. The island's waterfalls, including Na Muang, make a good choice for a day away from the coast, and the main beaches of the island are a further drive along its roads.
