The Haleeva Aonang

The rooms at The Haleeva Aonang run from a bunk bed in a mixed dormitory to a 65 m² family room with two king beds. Every room with a private bathroom has a king bed and a city or mountain view.

The private rooms also have a telephone, satellite or cable channels and an electric kettle. Air conditioning comes with the Double Room with Mountain View, the Triple Room and the mixed dormitory, and the Triple Room also has a balcony or terrace. Limestone cliffs rise above the bay on either side, and the town stays lively into the evening. Most of the activity is around the beach, with boat trips, massage shops and tour desks. Guesthouses and hotels line the road behind the sand.

Ao Nang Beach is close to the hotel, and the Ao Nang Beach Pier, 950 m away, is where boat trips leave for the islands. Railay Beach, 2.4 km away, has limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat, and Phra Nang Cave, a beach cave on the same peninsula, is one of the area's best-known sights. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a temple complex on a hillside, lies 14.5 km away.

A good day could start with a boat from the pier to Railay and its cliffs, then continue to Poda or Tup island for snorkelling. Boat trips can be disrupted when the sea is rough, especially in the rainy season. In the evening, the Ao Nang night market, 1.5 km away, offers street food.
