The Glory Gold Hotel

Rooms at The Glory Gold Hotel can have air conditioning, a balcony or terrace, a mini bar, a refrigerator, an in-room safe and a closet. Street-food stalls and massage shops line the roads near the beach. The hotel sits in the Bang Niang Beach area, where beach days and forest walks sit close together, and boats leave the coast for the islands offshore.

Bang Niang Beach is 1.2 km away and Khuk Khak Beach lies along the same stretch of coast. Ton Chong Fa Waterfall, in the hills inland, is 4.3 km away. The Tsunami Museum and the Wat Panatnikhom pagoda are in the village nearby, and the Bang Niang Afternoon Market is close by. Phuket International Airport is 63 km away, the closest major airport to the area.

A day could start with a swim at Bang Niang Beach, then move inland to Ton Chong Fa Waterfall and on to Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, 5.6 km away. The Similan Islands are reached by boat from the coast, and boat trips depend on the season, as the park closes during the monsoon. Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park is also reached by road from the village.
