The Ford Sunset Beach Resort

Rooms at The Ford Sunset Beach Resort have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, toiletries and towels, plus an electric kettle and a hair dryer. Some rooms look out over the garden and others over the pool, and most have air conditioning.

These include a 30 m² bungalow that sleeps up to four guests, a 30 m² room with a king bed for two, and a 16 m² room with a double bed and a pool view. Some rooms have a socket near the bed, and blackout curtains are fitted in one of them, while several have a TV with satellite and cable channels.

The Ford Sunset Beach Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, with a playground, a garden and a terrace. On site there are restaurants, a bar, a coffee shop and room service, and there is also a grocery delivery service and a convenience store.

Guests can go snorkelling, diving, fishing or hiking, and bicycles and massage are offered too. Tours, car hire, a shuttle service and a taxi service are offered as well, and laundry service, dry cleaning and ironing are available.

Free parking is on site and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with internet services in the public areas as well. Rooms can have air conditioning, an in-room safe box, a coffee or tea maker, a refrigerator and free bottled water.

The Ford Sunset Beach Resort is in the Hin Kong area of Ko Pha-ngan, an island reached by boat, where small villages, bays and beaches sit close together. The beach is about 10 m from the property, and the villages of Baan Wok Tum and Baan Hin Kong are the nearest to it. The villages are small, and the beaches and bays sit close to one another along this part of the island.

Within a short distance is Wat Am Pha Wan, a temple 1.2 km away, and the Sunset Low Tide Viewpoint is 500 m from the resort. Wat Samai Kongka is another Buddhist temple in the neighbourhood, and the Ananda Yoga & Detox Center is also in the area. Salad Beach lies further across the island. The nearest airport is Samui Airport on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, 23.3 km away, and the crossing from there to Ko Pha-ngan is made by boat.

A day here could start with a swim at the beach, continue with a visit to the temples at Wat Am Pha Wan and Wat Samai Kongka, and end at the food market. Snorkelling and diving are offered at the resort, and a day at the Wake Park Phangan or a trip to Salad Beach takes you away from the sand close to the resort.
