The Flow Samui Beach Resort

Rooms at The Flow Samui Beach Resort include pool-access rooms and rooms with an ocean view. Several of them measure 28 or 32 m², and they sleep up to two, three or five guests. Beds are king or queen.

Several rooms come with bathrobes, a hair dryer and an electric kettle, and the Deluxe Pool Access Room and the Beachfront Pool Access Suite both have a private bathroom. Some rooms have a pool view and others an ocean view, and several rooms have wireless internet access, while the Simple Flow Deluxe Pool Access room has a window and a shower.

Guests can use an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, as well as a garden. The restaurant, the bar and room service cover meals and drinks, and a 24-hour front desk is staffed around the clock.

Free parking is available, and the resort offers an airport transfer, tours that can be arranged, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes. Laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services are available, and daily housekeeping is provided.

Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms and public areas, and internet access and a telephone are also available. English and Thai are spoken at the resort. The rooms can have a mini bar, a refrigerator, a coffee and tea maker and free bottled water, and the bathrooms of some rooms include a separate shower and bathtub.

Mae Nam is a village area on the coast of Koh Samui, with Mae Nam Beach a short walk from the resort and Bophut close by. Rather than a dense strip of hotels, the surroundings are mostly small-scale, with local houses, a few temples and shrines, and small shops that serve the village.

Fisherman's Village, 2.5 km away, is a walking street of shops and restaurants in Bophut. Big Buddha, 5.3 km away on a hill above the coast, is one of the island's best-known landmarks, and Samui Airport lies 6.1 km away.

A day out can start on Mae Nam Beach, continue to Fisherman's Village and then to the Big Buddha. The Na Muang Waterfall, 11.2 km away, is an inland waterfall that makes a fuller day trip. Getting around the island is by road, with taxis, songthaews and scooters, so a car or a taxi is the usual way to reach the sights. Because Koh Samui is an island, the airport and the ferry piers are the first step of any journey from the mainland, and the resort's airport transfer covers the trip from the airport to the property. Mae Nam Beach itself is an easy walk for a swim or an evening stroll along the sand.
