The Fair House Beach Resort and Hotel

The rooms at The Fair House Beach Resort and Hotel range from bungalows with a garden view and a family suite to a room with a king bed and superior rooms with air conditioning, for groups of up to five guests. Several of them have a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower, and their bathrooms offer a hair dryer and toiletries, while the Premier, the Superior Bungalow, the Deluxe Bungalow and the Family Suite have a garden view.

Beds vary from room to room, from one king bed to a double bed or a choice of single or double set-ups, and each room has its own floor area and capacity. Several room types also have air conditioning and free WiFi.

The Fair House Beach Resort and Hotel is in the Chaweng Noi area of Koh Samui, an island in the Gulf of Thailand with its own airport. Chaweng Noi is a separate bay from the main Chaweng strip, and its own beach lies 50 m from the resort. The stretch around the property mixes resorts with small shops and local eateries, and it is a starting point for beach days and sightseeing across the island.

The island has plenty to see near the resort. Lamai Beach is 3.9 km away, a long beach with a lively stretch of shops, and Chaweng Yai Beach, the main Chaweng beach, is also nearby. Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hillside, is 7.2 km from the property, and the Hin Ta & Hin Yai Rocks, two unusual rock formations on the coast, are 6.3 km away.

A full day could start with a swim at Chaweng Noi Beach, then head to Fisherman's Village in Bophut, where lanes of shops and eateries run down towards the water. For a longer outing, the Na Muang Waterfall lies in the island's interior, and Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue, makes a cultural stop on the coast.
