The Cliff Lipe Resort

The resort's rooms include villas and suites. Several look out over the ocean, others have a garden view, and some have a whirlpool bathtub. Depending on the room, you can have air conditioning, a private bathroom, a mini bar, a refrigerator, an in-room safe and a balcony or terrace.

Some rooms sleep up to five guests and others up to three. The bathrooms have showers, and many rooms have bathrobes, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and several rooms also have a telephone. The bathrooms are private, and several have a whirlpool bathtub.

The resort has a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop, a snack bar and room service, with breakfast offered a la carte, as a buffet or as a continental breakfast. The garden and the terrace are part of the grounds, and massage, a hot tub and on-site entertainment are offered as well.

For activities, the resort offers watersport equipment rentals, canoeing, diving, fishing, snorkelling and tours, and it has a private beach.

Practical services include laundry, dry cleaning and ironing, daily housekeeping, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, express check-in and check-out, an airport transfer and a shuttle service. English, Mandarin and Thai are spoken at the resort, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with Wi-Fi in the public areas as well.

The Cliff Lipe Resort is in the Sunset Beach area of Ko Lipe, a small island in the Andaman Sea that is reached by boat. The village is built around a few beaches and a network of lanes, and most places on the island can be reached on foot. The surroundings mix the sea with small bars and restaurants, so the day moves between the water and the village.

Talo Izumi Beach is the closest beach, 100 m from the resort, and Pattaya Beach, with several bars nearby, is 250 m away. The island's ferry terminal is 800 m from the hotel, and it is the place to board boats to the mainland and nearby islands. Walking Street, a lane lined with shops and eateries, is 900 m away. Koh Adang, a neighbouring island reached by boat, is 6 km away and can be visited as a day trip.

A good way to use the area is to spend the morning on the resort's private beach, walk over to Walking Street, and in the afternoon take a boat to Koh Adang for snorkelling. The resort also offers watersport equipment rentals, diving and fishing, and snorkelling trips and tours can be arranged.
