The Cliff Elegance Resort

Rooms at The Cliff Elegance Resort measure 30 to 70 m² and sleep up to six guests. Some doubles and twins overlook the garden, the Family Room has a pool view and the Family Suite has a mountain view. Rooms can have air conditioning, a closet, a desk, a coffee and tea maker, a minibar, a refrigerator and a balcony or terrace.

Bathrooms can have a shower and toiletries, and rooms can have a hair dryer, a mirror, slippers and a telephone. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and some rooms have bathrobes, satellite and cable channels and a flat-screen TV.

Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with a long strip of sand, small shops and food stalls along the main road, and boat tours leaving for the islands. The atmosphere is lively after dark, with food stalls and the night market nearby, and the area works well as a base for a beach holiday with easy access to day trips. Restaurants, small tour offices and shops line the main road, so there is plenty to see in the evenings.

Ao Nang Beach is about 850 m from the resort, and the Ao Nang Night Market is 1.5 km away. From Ao Nang, longtail boats make the short trip to Railay, a peninsula of limestone cliffs reached mainly by water, and the Hong Islands are a popular day trip for boat tours. Poda Island is 6.9 km away and is reached by boat, and the boat trips to the islands are the main way to spend a full day away from the beach.

Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside Buddhist temple reached by a long staircase, makes a good half-day visit. Krabi International Airport is 18.1 km away and Phuket International Airport is 58.2 km, so Krabi is the closer airport. Tours and car hire can be arranged at the resort for trips further along the coast.
