The CHU cafe/guesthouse

All rooms at The CHU cafe/guesthouse are air-conditioned, and each one sleeps up to two guests. The rooms measure from 23 to 37 m², and some overlook the city while others look out over the mountains. Queen beds are provided in the one-bedroom and studio rooms. Public areas also have air conditioning.

Most rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer and toiletries. Several include a refrigerator, an electric kettle or a coffee and tea maker, and the studio rooms and the one-bedroom room have an electric kettle or a coffee and tea maker among their equipment. Blackout curtains and a TV are offered in some rooms.

Guests can eat and drink on site, with a restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop, and room service brings food to the rooms. Breakfast is offered a la carte and can be taken in the room, and grocery and food delivery are also available.

For getting around, the property offers car hire and an airport transfer. A game room and a terrace are on site, and currency exchange is also offered, which is handy for day trips around the island.

Pets are allowed, and charges apply. Languages spoken include English, Russian, Thai and Ukrainian, and the air conditioning extends to the public areas of the property.

Nai Harn is a sandy bay on Phuket, one of the island's better-known beaches, with a freshwater lake just behind it. The area feels calmer than the nightlife centre of Patong, and it has a more local character than the big resort strips elsewhere on the island. Phuket is the largest island in Thailand, and its beaches differ a great deal from one bay to the next.

Nai Harn Beach is 1.1 km from the property, and Sunsuri Sunset Market is 650 m away. Nai Harn Lake, 750 m away, lies behind the beach, and Wat Nai Harn is a Buddhist temple in the same area. Big Buddha Phuket, 5.1 km away, is a large seated statue on a hill above the island, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7.7 km away and is one of the island's most important temples.

Phuket is joined to the mainland by a bridge, and the property offers car hire, which is the easiest way to reach the temples and the bigger beaches around the island. A day could begin with a walk along Nai Harn Beach, continue with the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong in the afternoon, and end at the Sunsuri Sunset Market before heading back to the guesthouse.
