The Chava Resort

Accommodation at The Chava Resort is made up of penthouses, residences and villas, all with two or more bedrooms, and some rooms look out over the pool while others have mountain views. Rooms can have a balcony or terrace, a bathtub, a walk-in shower, a kitchenette or a full kitchen, bathrobes and an in-room safe.

Mountain-view penthouses come with air conditioning, a telephone and a closet, and some rooms have flat-screen TVs with satellite or cable channels. Some rooms also have blackout curtains, a fan and a streaming service. A four-bedroom residence sleeps up to nine guests, and a three-bedroom villa sleeps up to three.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool and a garden, along with a massage service. There are restaurants, a bar, room service and a grocery delivery service on site, and Asian and continental breakfast is offered.

The Chava Resort is in Surin, a beach area of the Cherngtalay part of Phuket, with Surin Beach 250 m away. The grounds include a garden and an outdoor swimming pool, so the beach is the nearest outing from the resort, and Laem Sing Beach is also close by. Phuket International Airport is 15 km away, and the rest of the island can be reached by road. Most guests spend their days by the pool or on Surin Beach, which is a short walk from the grounds.

Patong Beach is 8.1 km away, and its nightlife centres on Bangla Road, the well-known street of bars and clubs in Patong. Kata and Karon beaches are also reached by road, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of Phuket's best-known temples. The Big Buddha, a white statue on a hilltop, is 17.1 km away, and Chaithararam Temple is the nearer of the two temples.

Phuket FantaSea is a cultural theme park with evening shows, and Bang Tao Night Market, 2.3 km away, is an evening market for food and everyday goods. A good day could take in Chaithararam Temple, the Big Buddha and a swim at Surin Beach, with the pool at the resort as a place to rest in between.
