The Briza Beach Resort

The accommodation at The Briza Beach Resort is made up of villas and duplex rooms with garden, pool or beach views. Options include a 58 m² deluxe room for two guests and a 160 m² villa for up to three, and several of the villas have two bedrooms and room for up to five guests.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a mini bar, a refrigerator, a kettle and a balcony or terrace, depending on the type, and bathrooms can include toiletries, towels and a hair dryer. Several villas have a private pool or a plunge pool, and the grounds include gardens and a terrace.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a fitness center, a bar, a poolside bar and a 24-hour front desk. The grounds include a garden and a terrace.

Meals can be taken in the restaurants, which offer a la carte dishes, breakfast in Asian, buffet and continental styles, and coffee or tea. A breakfast takeaway service and food delivery are also available, and room service is offered.

Other services include an airport transfer, tours, car hire and a taxi service, along with luggage storage, daily housekeeping, laundry and dry cleaning. Families can use the babysitting service and the kids meal option, and the resort also has a family room.

The resort is in Bophut, a coastal village on Koh Samui with a fishing past, and Nora Beach is the nearest beach at 700 m. Chaweng Yai Beach is 1.5 km away, and Samui Airport is 1.4 km from the resort, so the main airport on the island is close. The Chaweng area, the island's busiest beach strip, is also reachable by road.

Koh Samui is an island, so the resort is reached by air or by ferry, and once on the island taxis and car hire are available to get around. Wat Plai Laem, known for its large Guanyin statue, is 3.5 km away, and the Big Buddha temple, a hilltop site with a large seated Buddha, is 3.8 km away. Both are easy to combine with a day at the coast.

A day could start with a swim at Nora Beach, then go to Wat Plai Laem and the Big Buddha in the afternoon, and end with an evening visit to Fisherman's Village, where shops and restaurants stay open into the night. The Night Market, with its food stalls and local goods, makes an easy evening outing. For practical needs, a pharmacy and a hospital are within a few hundred metres of the resort.
