The Beach @ Klong Muang Krabi

Rooms are air-conditioned and measure between 25 and 28 m². One room has a balcony and sleeps up to three guests, while the other two sleep up to two.

Klong Muang is a village on the mainland coast of Krabi province, facing the Andaman Sea. Limestone cliffs characterise much of this coast, and the village has a calmer pace than Ao Nang, the resort town on the same shore, whose beach strip is the busier part of the coast. Its local life centres on a market held on Sundays and Tuesdays, and many visitors combine a quiet beach stay with day trips further afield.

Klong Muang Beach and the Klong Muang Sunday and Tuesday Market are within a few hundred metres of the property, so most of the village is easy to explore on foot. Railay Beach, 9.2 km away, is reached only by longtail boat, and the Krabi Elephant Shelter is 3.6 km away. Boats to the islands of Poda and Tup leave from Ao Nang, and Krabi International Airport is 24.8 km away.

A good day could begin at the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 19.7 km away, a hillside temple reached by a long staircase. The Hong Islands, 37.7 km away, are a popular day trip by longtail boat from Ao Nang. Both the temple and the islands are within a day trip of the village.
