The Beach by Glitter House

The studios at The Beach by Glitter House measure 32 m² and sleep up to two guests in a king bed. They come with air conditioning, a full kitchen with a dining table, an electric kettle and a coffee/tea maker, and a private bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer and toiletries.

The bay is wide and sandy, with a lively mix of hotels and shops along the road behind the sand. It is a more relaxed base than Patong, the island's busiest beach area.

The property is 350 m from Kata Beach, and Karon Beach lies in the neighbouring bay. Further afield, the Big Buddha Phuket, a large statue on a hilltop, is 1.5 km away, while Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong and one of the island's most revered temples, is 4.8 km away. A minibus station is 750 m away, and Phuket International Airport is 32 km away, with an airport transfer offered.

A good day could begin at the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, then return to Kata for an afternoon on the sand and an evening at the poolside bar. Karon Beach offers a second beach for another day, and Phuket Town, the island's main centre, is a longer trip for a day out. Back at the property, the poolside bar is an easy place to relax after a day of sightseeing.
