Don Mueang International Airport is 8 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 21.5 km away, so the hotel is close to the airport for early departures. For a day out, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is a large weekend market, and the Grand Palace in the old city, the royal palace complex, is a longer trip. Jim Thompson House, the teak house museum of a silk merchant, and Khaosan Road, the backpacker street, are further into the city, and both are worth a half-day visit.
