Rooms at Thara Patong Beach Resort & Spa include some with a pool view. The Deluxe measures 30 m² and the Premier 38 m², and the Premier also has a bathtub alongside its shower.

Other rooms include the Superior Room, at 28 m², and the Deluxe Room, at 30 m². The Premium Room measures 38 m² and sleeps up to six guests, the Single Premier and the Run of House each sleep up to three guests, and the Triple Room Panoramic sleeps up to four.

The area is busy and lively, with beach-side restaurants, bars and shops, and the streets stay busy well into the night, so it appeals to anyone who wants the sea and the nightlife close at hand. Its beach is one of the island's busiest, and the restaurants and shops along Thaweewong Road make it easy to eat out without going far.

Bangla Road, the street of bars and night clubs, is 400 m away, and the Jungceylon Shopping Center is 550 m away. The beach, the shops and the bars all sit in the same part of town. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of Phuket's most important Buddhist temples, is 7 km away, and the Big Buddha statue on the hills is 7.9 km away. Phuket International Airport is 23.8 km from the resort.

A full day could begin on Patong Beach, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, and end on Bangla Road in the evening. For a different stretch of sand, Karon Beach lies between Patong and Kata, and the Phuket FantaSea cultural show park is another evening outing.
