Bangla Road, the lively nightlife street of Patong, is 1 km from the resort, and Kata Beach, 8.6 km away, offers a quieter stretch of sand and a more relaxed pace than Patong. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of Phuket's most revered temples, and the Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hilltop, is 8.4 km from the resort. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with an evening show, lies 6.2 km away.

Phuket is large, so a taxi or a rented car is the practical way to reach the temples, the Big Buddha and the beaches away from Patong. A good day could combine Wat Chalong, the Big Buddha and an afternoon on Kata Beach.
