Thai House Beach Resort

The rooms at Thai House Beach Resort measure between 20 and 28 m² and sleep from two to four guests. Some look out over the garden and others over the sea, and garden-view and sea-view rooms are both available, from a double room and a twin room to bungalows and a quadruple room for four guests.

Most rooms have air conditioning, and several have a private entrance and a walk-in shower. Some rooms also have an electric kettle, and most bathrooms come with toiletries and towels. The flat-screen TVs in several rooms come with satellite and cable channels. One room also has a mosquito net and a socket near the bed.

The resort has a 24-hour front desk, a restaurant and a bar, and a garden and a terrace. Daily housekeeping and laundry service are offered, and luggage storage is available.

Tours can be arranged, and bicycles and car hire are available for guests who want to explore the island. Canoeing, diving, snorkelling, fishing and horseback riding are also offered, and ticket services are available too.

Guests will find free parking, a shuttle service and an airport transfer, along with a massage service, Wi-Fi in the public areas and air conditioning in the public areas. The restaurant and bar are on site, and the garden and terrace are part of the resort's grounds.

Thai House Beach Resort is in the Pra Ae Beach area of Long Beach on Koh Lanta, an island in Krabi province in the Andaman Sea. The sand is 110 m from the resort, and the surroundings are those of a beach area rather than a town. Long Beach is the closest stretch of coast to the property, and the island's other beaches can be reached from the resort, so a stay here centres on the sea and the sand.

Khlong Khong Beach is another beach on the island, and Kantiang Bay and Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a limestone cave, lie further away. Lanta Old Town is the island's old town, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine national park with beaches and islands, is 16 km away.

Getting here involves the sea: Koh Lanta has no bridge to the mainland, so the last part of the journey is by boat, and Krabi International Airport is 55.8 km away across the water. The rainy months can bring rough seas that affect boat trips to and from the mainland. A day out to the national park is a good way to see the island's beaches and its islands from the water.
