Tapear Resort is on the Loh Dalum Bay side of Ko Phi Phi, an island in the Andaman Sea that belongs to Krabi province. The island is busiest around Ton Sai village, with its dive shops and street-food stalls, while the bay areas are quieter and more relaxed. There is no airport on the island, so the way in is by boat, with ferries from the mainland arriving at the Ton Sai pier.
A viewpoint lookout is about 100 m from the resort, and the Tsunami Building is 350 m away, both within a short walk. The Ton Sai pier is 850 m away, and Loh Dalum Beach about 1 km. Boat trips to Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh, the small island next door, leave from the island's piers.
