Phi Phi Phu Chalet Resort

The rooms at Phi Phi Phu Chalet Resort are bungalows and family rooms, several of them with a sea, garden or pool view. Some family rooms sleep up to five guests, and a 63 m² family room looks out over the ocean.

In the rooms you can find air conditioning, bathrobes, hair dryers and toiletries, and some rooms also have a fan, blackout curtains, a telephone or a coffee and tea maker. Garden-view rooms look out over the resort's garden, and a baby cot or crib is available on request. Extra beds depend on the room, and an extra bed carries an additional charge.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a solarium, along with a restaurant, a bar, a barbecue area and a happy hour. Breakfast is served à la carte, and alternative meal arrangements can be made.

For water activities there are watersport equipment rentals, with facilities for snorkelling, diving, canoeing, boating and fishing, and tours can be arranged. There are also facilities for hiking, and a concierge service is available.

Families have a playground, a children's swimming pool and kids' meals, and the resort offers laundry service, daily housekeeping and a shuttle service. English and Thai are spoken at the resort, and the shuttle service runs to and from Ton Sai Pier.

Phi Phi Phu Chalet Resort is in the Loh Ba Gao area of Ko Phi Phi, the main island of the Phi Phi archipelago, where small bays sit between hills. The island is hilly, and the viewpoints sit on the higher ground. Ko Phi Phi is reached by sea, so the last stage of the journey is by boat from the Krabi or Phuket coast, and many of the beaches can be reached on foot while boats cover the rest.

The beach of Phu Chalet is about 50 m from the resort, and Loh Ba Khao Bay and La Na Beach lie within 800 m, so the sand is close on foot. Ton Sai Bay, 3 km away, is the island's main village and has the pier used by the resort's boat shuttle. The Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint, 2.2 km away, gives a view over the bays and hills of the island.

A good day here combines the beach with a walk to the Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint and a boat trip to Ao Maya, the bay on the neighbouring island of Phi Phi Leh. In the evening, Ton Sai village along its bay is the place to go out, and boats reach the other bays of the island as well. Watersport equipment can be rented at the resort, and tours can be arranged for day trips.
