The resort is 180 m from the beach, and Long Beach, Koh Lanta is the closest stretch of sand. Klong Dao Beach is 1.3 km away, and Kantiang Bay, 3.5 km away, is another sandy bay on the island. Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a limestone cave on Koh Lanta, is a further outing, and the Monday Market offers local food and everyday goods for a visit at any time of the week.

A day out can take you to Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 17.5 km away, a marine park covering the islands and reefs around Koh Lanta. The park's islands lie offshore, so the boat is the way to reach them, and boat trips can be disrupted by rough seas during the rainy months. Krabi International Airport, 54.2 km away on the mainland, is the main airport for arrivals on Koh Lanta, and most of the island's shops and services are in the villages along the coast rather than in one town.
