Taevaraj Place

Taevaraj Place has standard double and twin rooms, some for up to two guests and others for up to four. Rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a closet and a refrigerator, and free bottled water is also provided in some rooms.

The ruins of the old city's temples and palaces are spread across the centre, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Ayutthaya Train Station is 300 m from the hotel, and trains from there run to and from Bangkok. A ferry boat stop is also close, on the river. Wat Mahathat, known for a Buddha head entwined in tree roots, is 1.6 km away, and the Historic City of Ayutthaya is 2.4 km away. The Ayothaya Floating Market & Elephant Village is also close by. For longer trips, Don Mueang International Airport is 49.1 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 76.1 km away, both reached by road.

A good day could start at Wat Mahathat and continue along the river to Wat Phanan Choeng, which houses a large seated Buddha image, before a stop at the Ayothaya Floating Market & Elephant Village in the afternoon. The former royal temple of Wat Phra Sri Sanphet is a further stop for anyone who wants to see more of the old city's ruins.
